It is ⌚time to frame business decisions systematically.

Last week, in my daily insights, I was asked to show how business decisions can be modeled.

✨Practical example, not academic and theory.

💣Modeling business decisions based on Decision Requirements Diagram (DRD) has massive benefits:
* It is part of an open standard Decision Model and Notation (DMN) that is widely accepted across many industries and actively maintained with the member group of OMG organizations
* It is a visual diagram that allows you to model business decisions in your workshop and whiteboard sessions
* It is flexible enough to accommodate different types of decision logic, such as #businessrules, calculations, #machinelearning, scorecards, and etc.
* It makes decision-making easy to understand and transparent
* It provides the basis for open communication and collaboration on how decisions are made

One thing that is exciting about using a Decision Requirements Diagram (DRD) as part of the Decision Model and Notation (DMN) is that you do not need to stop there. You can innovate on top of this open standard and still have the core foundation, benefits of interoperability, and best practices it offers.

💡A critical note is that Decision Requirements Diagrams are not just a visual representation; they are fully executable artifacts as part of DMN Conformance Level 3.
